The Mad Laboratory

"Locked In" - A short by Karina Davies

'After suffering a stroke six years ago, Tony Nicklinson was left paralysed from the neck down and unable to speak. His condition is known as 'Locked-In Syndrome' and now, after years of frustrating helplessness, he wants to die.

This film was inspired by the true story of Tony Nicklinson, and created using William Kentridge's charcoal erasure animation technique, for a final University project.'

They Call me 'Trinity'

"They Call me Trinity" - Group Project

A group project working from a given script, to be done in stop-motion. This was completed over the course of about 4 weeks, as an introduction into the world of stop motion, with most of how to do it being worked out on-the-go. Some limited edition DVD versions were also produced.

By Jonathan Wallace, Claire Hanson, Toby Rutter and myself. Music by Kevin MacLeod.
